Dot Project

Process:

I cut my coffee filter and I used crayons to make lines that made the designs on the coffee filter. After I had the crayons drawn on I used green, blue, and purple to color my heart. I used less water on the different shapes to really give the concentrated paint a real defining factor.

Extension:

I would have students use coffee filters to make watercolor flowers and place them with a science lesson. They would get to pick different real flowers and make them look as close as they could. Then the students would give a presentation on the flower.
